  4. Watch children’s videos

10 Ways to Stop Translating in Your Head.

This article refers the Englishclass101.com.

英語を英語のまま理解することが大事。特に会話をする場合は、いちいち脳内で翻訳してたら、会話のリズムを損なうのでNG。英語学習をしていると盲点となりがちかもしれないが、お互いに会話を楽しむことを考えると、常識レベルで当たり前のことだと思う。

結局「英語脳を作りましょう」ということ。

そのために、毎日コツコツと、身の回りに英語環境を整えることが大事。そしてそれは、自分のマインドチェンジや工夫しだいで、実は簡単に実現できる。

  1. Identify objects around you in English.
  2. Repeat phrases you hear native speakers use. (and you have to try to say the phrases!)
  3. Make a situation where you can’t escape into your native language.
  4. Watch TV and movies in your target language without subtitles. (for focusing hearing)
  5. Don’t bring a dictionary to your lesson.
  6. Train responses to common questions.
  7. Study with materials that don’t provide a translation.
  8. Study phrases in addition to a single vocabulary.
  9. Do your daily activities in English.
  10. Use a leaner’s dictionary for new words.

Rhythm — We need a good rhythm to keep our life better. Somebody call it the custom.

Deep breath, exercise, coffee, jogging, reading books, and so on… We have several hobbies and favorite things to do. Whether consciously or not, we always do something and that will be our custom. It means we do that every day and that is our life.

Recently, I realize routing work is important to keep my rhythm better. For example, I get up and drink a cup of water, quick exercise like stretching, eating breakfast, and washing dishes. The most important thing is washing dishes for me. It’s a mediation!

It also makes good rhythm! So I am excited a little bit and get ready to work!
